On May 29 2023 Jens-Stefan Müller, Head of Junior – Talents programme in Germany, and Mārtiņš Konovalovs, manager of the programme visited ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences. Together with the teachers of the Automotive Transport Engineering study programme Dr Rytis Zautra and Dr Povilas Šaulys as well as the students who participated in the internships and who intend to participate in the programme, they discussed the possibilities and conditions of specialty internships in Germany, discussed current issues, and evaluated the internships that have already taken place. The following features of our students were noted in the evaluation: intelligence, diligence, independence, knowledge of the profession and excellent ability to communicate in English.
The prospects of academic staff internships in Germany and ideas for preparation of joint projects were also discussed with Rozalija Radlinskaite, Head of the International Relations and Projects Centre, and Inga Neciunskaite-Khangura, coordinator.
