Graphic designerMy dream has always been that of the numerical harmony, the power of finance and balance sheets…And then I found myself enrolled into the world of computers and information technologies, which did not disappoint me, on contrary, I found something which allowed to express myself. The knowledge and skills I acquired in programme of Multimedia, Design and Publishing Technologies gave me the courage and confidence to open my own advertising agency “Mano draugas”, where I can continue to develop myself not only as a graphic designer, but also as a manager in the whole advertising field. It is only by working that we improve our knowledge and learn new things. I would like to wish all the students of ALYTUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences to have the desire to accumulate as much knowledge as possible and to have the strength to pursue their dreams and work.

It was quite accidentally that I started working in the field of transport and logistics. I did not have any experience or previous knowledge to start with and realised my wish to further develop in this specific field of business. ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences was just the right fit, providing possibility to continue my job as well as study the desired field of Transport and Logistics Business (TLB) programme. If you are the one who loves communication, challenges, facing and managing ever changing situations, this study programme is the perfect choice. Don’t be afraid to take the risks, believe and love what you do. I have been working for a transport logistics company for 9 years now and I cannot imagine myself in any other field. My deepest thanks goes to the lecturers for their expertise, advice and support. Good luck to all fresh students!

It has always been my dream to have my life deeply connected to medicine. 2016 was the first steps towards accomplishing this dream, when I enrolled into newly formed course of General Practice Nursing in ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences. It was one of the greatest choices in my life, which proved to have given just about everything I needed. The administrative staff and the lectures played utmost part in the same and I am truly grateful to them. Their dedication and sincere wish to assist the students, nurtured me into a fully-fledged member of college community and helped to build confidence which I needed. I am now successfully working as a general nurse at the Alytus District Primary Health Care Centre, as well as a volunteer at the Covid-19 mobile point. I would like to wish to all the students to give the best and use all the possibilities given by ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences. And let the words of Father Stanislovas guides you through the life and work: “Share the kindness of your heart, wisdom, tolerance, understanding, compassion, and give hope and trust to those who need it the most.” Be curious and brave.

Warehouse foreman, JST āKauno grÅ«daiāThe modern food industry is in great need of professionals able to generate and implement new ideas. One should not be afraid to face new challenges or think he/she is not a good fit for specific field or role, but rather go into it with the whole spirit and take all the best what is offered at ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences. The Food Technology study programme has opened my eyes to the products we consume. I strongly encourage young people in particular to choose this study programme. You will be surprised just as I was. I extend my appreciate to the lecturers for the quality of their knowledge as well as my employer for providing flexible conditions to work and study at the same time.
