Participation in ERASMUS+ KA2 project “Digital Education Platform for Soft Skills and Culture of Labour Market (DEPS – Skills)”

2023-04-28

ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences together with partners from Norway (Rogaland Lithuanian Community), Ireland (LABAS – Union of Lithuanian Individuals and Communities in Ireland), and Poland („Niemen“ – Euroregion Association), took part in the first international partner meeting of the ERASMUS+ KA2 project “Digital Education Platform for Soft Skills and Culture of Labour Market (DEPS – Skills)” on April 21 and 22, 2023. The Alytus Business Consultation Centre oversees project coordination.

The 5 partners involved in the project will work to develop a platform of digital and practical tools based on global know-how, research, and professional expertise and to offer publicly accessible courses and guidelines for re-immigrants to improve their soft skills in a high-quality, modern, and accessible way.

ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences has put together a group of skilled individuals who will work to create the majority of the project’s publicly accessible digital learning boxes for communication, critical thinking, computer literacy, and other soft skills.

The partners discussed technical implementation guidelines and heard each other’s suggestions for a list of potential tools that would be most pertinent for the target audience during the first meeting,. They also shared their personal experiences and presented their initial ideas for the development and delivery of the potential modules.

It is anticipated that the 28-month project will proceed without a hitch and serve to inspire both, those who wish to return, and those who have already done so, while also facilitating their adaptation and reintegration into the labour market.
