On the 20-24 March 2023, Sigitas NaruÅ”eviÄius, the Director of ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences, Laima UrbonienÄ, the Head of Applied Research and Non-Formal/Formal Education Centre, Kristina StauskienÄ, the Head of the Department of Health Sciences and Technologies and Rozalija RadlinskaitÄ, the Head of the International Relations and Projects Centre participated in the Erasmus+ staff training mobility Programme. The visit took place at Lomza University of Applied Sciences in Poland, situated in a picturesque panorama and furnished with new or newly renovated spacious faculties. The participants were welcomed by the warm-hearted staff and students of Lomza University of Applied Sciences and pupils from its STEAM Centre.
The participants of the mobility programme met the Rector of Lomza University, Prof. Dariusz Surowik, and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Sylwia Chojnowska, to discuss further institutional cooperation. The discussions on various joint research activities were held: organization of scientific events and joint projects as well as publication of scientific publications. Relevant issues were discussed during the meeting with the administration and lecturers of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. In addition, the organization of the study process as well as the opportunities for preparation of joint scientific articles were discussed.
Later, the participants were taken on a cognitive tour around university, which was organized by Katarzyna Zacharzewska-Arnista and Magdalena Zach from the Centre for International Relations. They were shown the administrative buildings, the rich practical training facilities and the cosy studentsā dormitory. What is more, introduced to the pupils of the STEAM Centre.
Lomza University of Applied Sciences in Poland is a great place to study, work and live. There are 4 students from ALYTAUS KOLEGIJA/University of Applied Sciences currently studying there under the Erasmus+ programme.
