During November and December, partners of the Erasmus+ programme KA2 project “Digital Educational Platform for Soft Skills and Culture of Labour Markets” (DEPS-Skills) No. 2022-1-LT01-KA220-ADU-000085928 from Ireland “L.A.B.A.S – Lithuanian Association of Persons and Communities in Ireland” organized the “Digital Open Online Course” event in Ireland. The event focused on developing digital skills and labor market competencies through digital tools created as part of the project. On 7 th December, lecturers and project experts of the Alytus Faculty of Kauno kolegija HEI Regina Špukienė and Rasa Balynienė participated in the event, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of its activities.
Additionally, the event featured gamification elements and self-assessment tests, which received positive feedback for their interactivity and practicality. One of the event’s highlights was the attention given to Ukrainian participants. To facilitate their integration, the project’s platform and Moodle courses were presented in a language understandable to them. This effort encouraged their engagement in the activities and helped them better understand the platform’s functions and the learning process it supports. This approach demonstrated sensitivity to participants’ needs and ensured equitable access to learning resources.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
