On 20-24 May 2024 Associated Professor Dr Rūta Petrauskienė and chief financier Dalė Griškonienė visited Ilia State University in Georgia under Erasmus+ teaching and staff mobility programme. Lectures on planning and strategic management were delivered to students; practical experience in accounting activities were shared; topical financial management issues of organizations, as both partner institutions are public sector entities, were discussed.
The mobility participants met prof. Nikoloz Kavelashvili, the dean of the Faculty of Business, Technology and Education. They discussed not only about studies, study programmes, international mobility, but also about current geopolitical affairs. Colleagues from Tbilisi were also interested in Lithuania’s membership in the European Union, which is currently an important goal for the community of Ilia State University and most of the residents of Georgia.
